Workshop meetings

The workshop meetings will be held in the Sabino Room (Room 342) of the Student Union Memorial Center at the University of Arizona campus. Tucson sightseeing and attractions

Sabino Canyon – a very popular hiking and recreational area.

Mount Lemmon – the southernmost ski resort in the continental United States. One of the "Sky Islands" of the Southern Arizona, the top of the mountain contains a local ecosystem similar to that of Canadian Rockies.

Saguaro National Park – a popular hiking, biking, and recreational destination.

Kitt Peak – one of the largest astronomical sites in the northern hemisphere.

Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum – a natural history museum, zoo, aquarium, and botanical garden.

Colossal Cave Mountain Park – a popular attraction about 20 miles south of Tucson.

Titan Missile Museum – a unique Cold War-era museum in a former Titan II ICBM missile site located 25 miles south of Tucson.
